So I'm rolling up to the lake in the beat 4runner I just restored. A pile of tools, a lawn mower and a heavy load of wood in the bed. Half way up the mountains the muffler blows. BBBBBBBRRRRPPPPPPPPP! Now its a total cop magnate. West Quebec police are notorious for giving the Anglais a hard time.

Miraculously I blaze the last 15 kms to my private road unnoticed..... or so I thought....


Just as I'm chuckling at my luck I look in the rear view and bumbling down the rocky ridiculous road..... the Surete du Quebec.

Damn!!!!

So I roll in my driveway and off load the wood and await the inevitable. But for some reason he turns around and leaves.

Brillant!!!!

This morning I try and quiet the muffler.

It didn't work very well.

But I made it back to town.

There is nothing quite like the adreneline induced euphoria of getting away it

Miraculous!!!

Now I just gotta get home again.
