Nothing like the roar of a V8 454 chevy big block to ratchet up the feeling of man vs nature inherent in fighting the weather up here. Plowing the road is a big part of living deep in the bush. Sometimes in order to make the job a bit more bearable I like to fire up a huge cannon of the finest Gatineau gold. Then beer between my legs I’ll pull the Chevy out drop the plow and blast through the quarter mile or so of snow. Usually you can’t see a thing so you operate on feel. Provided you don’t blow a push rod and crack the block. It is a feeling of power. Fuck you nature! Bring it on
