Messing about in boats. That’s always been the thing. From Canoe’s right up to powerful wakeboard boats. Nothing is better though than the small runabout. Cruising cottage country looking for cute girls on the docks. That was a great teen-age quest.

Boats meant freedom long before you were allowed to drive a car.

Boats gave access to far away fishing grounds

Best of all boats could be used to tow all many of surfing craft.

Waterskis, surfboards, wakeboards, kite’s, parachutes, boogie boards, air chairs, if you could think it up we towed it.

My friend boog basically invented wakeboarding. Long before it became popular he and his cast of characters were towing in behind “the beast” in cottage country on modified surfboards

he was so far ahead of his time
