Hey if you need work you'll apply for anything.
After a particularly grueling winter on the slopes of North America and then an incredibly harsh spring in the bush of Northern Ontario I arrived in Honolulu with a wad full of cash 2 surf sails and a desire to find a job. Being the clever fellow I acquired a less than useful temporary work Visa and applied for well paying office work instead of the jobs usually reserved for illegal aliens on the beach or in the construction trade. So off to the first interview where an old shrew of a lady was running the Atlas High-rise window washing company out of her Kahala mansion. She needed a comptroller and after testing my knowledge of accounting and finding it in good standing she offered me the position 5 days a week 9-5..........
Thinking quickly and in no urgent need of cash I declined and glad of it what's the point of living in paradise and spending it with some shrew crunching numbers, especially when you real goal is to master the push loop.
Instead I embarked on a short lived career as a High-rise window technician. Instead of scaffolding this company pioneered the rappel technique. No need for expensive equipment just secure your rope and hurl your self over a 40 story ledge and wash every window on the way down attached only by a primitive swing. Not for the faint of heart.
Alas again though the swaying of the plams and a solid south swell caused me to miss more than a few to many days for the old shrew's liking
