"Steadman!"

I could see he was bleeding from a deep gash under his left eye.

"Looks like the dog has come back to it's vomit" says I, remembering how this so called friend of mine had stolen my life and appropriated it for himself.

I considered driving my fist into the already swollen wound but thought the better of it. "karma is a funny thing isn't it you fuck!"

He just looked at me and kept walking.

It's funny how you can sense things over the telephone. I remember calling one time and just knowing it was over by the tone of her voice.

I hated Steadman but I also hated myself for even caring.

Karma played itself out as it always does though.

This time was no different.

Everything happens for a reason. It's just that the reasons sometimes are not apparent in the immediate.
