Slowly going insane
Drip, drip, drip.

Yeah its being acutely aware of noise in a completely quiet environment

In winter there is no sound at night.

Another book I recall that smacks of my looming insanity is Crime And Punishment. Dostoevsky tells the tale of a man driven to murder and then driven insane by his guilt.


Sanity is such a delicate balance
