If when the switch is actuated, the starter motor does not operate at all but the solenoid clicks, then the problem lies with either the battery the main solenoid contacts or the starter motor itself.

Hmmm

I can get my rig to start off another car using bosster cables. So the starter motor I think is OK. I believe my best bet in solving my latest 4-runner problem is cleaning all the cables and connections at the battery.

I use google type in the problem and voila

too bad I can't get someone to do the work for me...... free... in my laneway while I'm asleep......Its only been minus15 or lower every day for the past 2 weeks .... great weather for working on your rig
