So there is a lot of mental illness in my family.

Yeah but I’m not crazy,

So I got that going for me.

However I do get anxious sometimes. I keep such feelings at bay with exercise, and the knowledge that if the shit hit the fan I could always land on my feet.

You see I’ve done it before, just bolting from country to country and landing on my feet. Its really not that hard to do. Just make up your mind and do it.

But

Thing is as you get older I have come to realize its not as easy to blow whatever popsicle stand you may find yourself in. You lay down roots, you have responsibilities, you’ve made commitments.

Hmmm that can make checking out a lot heavier.

Freedom is in the knowledge that you don’t have to do something, for me I’ve discovered that just that knowledge is enough to keep me happy.

I do things because I want to
