So I’m off to the “near north” not the real north cause that would be ridiculous in this country unless I had a dog team or a snow machine. Anyways the near north is sorta that in between area below the tree line but above where everyone really lives which generally is within 100 miles of the US border, I guess.

My trucked is loaded with sailing equipment, the great lakes have de-iced but the water temp is hovering near zero. Hopefully there will be some wind. If not It wouldn’t be the first time I get skunked on these excursions.

I care a lot less about getting wind than I used to these days. I guess because I seem to have so much other shit to do on these trips.

Instead of blogging, I’ll be logging.. yeah with real trees and stuff

PS click here at 330 pm eastern standard time, there will be lots of sailors ripping and slashing BUT I will be the one rip, slashing AND tearing.
