And thus it was, The rich cottagers and the indigenous poor from day to day lived life in Canadian cottage country, bickering and trafficking, the summering rich striving to maintain their heads on their shoulders, the poor striving, no less single-heartedly, to remove the cottagers heads from their shoulders and at the same time to keep their own anatomies intact.
