What good is money when you have no time? This is a paradox, a catch 22, a mystery wrapped in a riddle. My friends in west Quebec have lots of time they don’t work in the city, they don’t really hold down steady jobs. They deal, they grow, they chop wood from time to time. Mostly it seems they fuck around with old cars, truck and snow machines. Sometimes taking a whole day to blow a carburetor or install a windshield on an old snow machine just to drive it a half mile to the lake to ice fish.

I’m jealous of that.

If only a whole day could be used for selfish interests. That has not been happening lately.

It’s not a good thing.
