It is as if a man on the river bank, having seen his friend in the river already bobbing down two or three times, hails " I say, old fellow, let us know when to throw you the life bouy, I know you have bobbed down a few times but it is a pity to throw you the life preserver till you are really in trouble. I want to know exactly for I am a man of exactitude."
