I was in love with Julie xxxxx in grade 5. In fact I'd been in love with her since grade one. But I was to shy to ever speak to her. However in grade 5 my family got tickets to the ice capades, you know the stars on ice show, skating is a big deal up here. So anyways I didn't want to go to a gay figure skating show, I was a hockey player. I made a big fuss and my mom let me stay home. I thought I was pretty clever getting out of that show. However when they got home my sisters were quick to inform me that one of my classmates had by chance sat beside them in the crowd. When I asked who they said "oh a girl from your class Julie xxxxx". I was devastated. I threw a big fit to get out of the show and here it was that my dream girl sat right beside the seat I would have had. Surely I would have spoken with her and we would have laughed and become all that I dreamed of. Instead after grade five was over she went to a different school and I never saw her again.

Life isn't fair.

Mega means big or large stir because I like to mix it up
