Fuck I love being on vacation. No bike nerds on the morning commute, you know those guys with the mirror on their helmet and saddlebags full of bike nerd paraphinalia. No office machines computers and such. No chattering idiots. Instead west Quebec drunks with huge beer bellies and stained dirty clothes. lots of rusty cars and mud. working clearing bush and building decks.

What a great break.

accomplishments:
cut and chopped 6 trees
cleared with backhoe new parking and laneway
filled sagging front lawn with new dirt
built new eaves on city house
all fall lawn & garden work done
started my own private monster garage, body work on old 4runner started.
caught and ate several fish from the lake
cackled with west Quebec locals
drank beer with same
froze in the newly freezeing weather
windsurfed 2 epic days
thought alot

My next goal is up north of Toronto next week: close up that property and see to some business up that way.
