Wednesday, April 30, 2003 :::
He was wearing the classic red nylon three stripes Adidas track suit popular with the Brooklyn street breaking crews back in the day. The club? Tobascos. The dance floor was packed and into the middle of it came these NYC breakers. All decked in similar attire. As they rolled past this one Puerto Rican handed off his blunt and then busted. You know the whole steps into spin trickery ending in some frozen pose. Girls love the way he'd spin, guys want to be like him. Grandmaster Flash's White Lines blasted from the enormous speakers where scantily clad French Canadian femme fatales writhed to the thumping bass.
In the darkness as the battle heated up another crew clad in blue Pony attire started in on the floor. Just as the rap was pumping and moves were being traded back and forth, Donald D hit the set, more gold than an Aztec, black leather he wore. Glancing down from the balcony you could see the cold hard glint of steel off a nine mm handgun tucked into the waist band of his leathers. He flowed through the crowd till he spotted something, then his pace quickened and in one fluid motion he grabbed at his nine pulled it and shots rang out at the back bar. People were screaming the music was blaring, as the panic reached a crescendo the offender showed no remorse, he rolled off in his new ride, a Testerossa Ferrari, convertible of course.
