Is writing all about ego?

I write then I read what I write and think, "aren't I clever?"

I post it on the international network. Maybe someone will read it and think "what a clever fellow that megastir is."

I don't have stats for this website so I have no idea if anyone reads this at all, let alone thinks its clever.

But secretly I hope they do.

I like to think this little project is not about ego but really about using a journal as a way of sorting out my thoughts. Sometimes I like to think its about keeping a log of all the interesting places I visit on the world wide web, a weblog as it were.

I just used the word "I" thirteen times in one hundred and forty two words a 9.1% ratio.

Its all about ego.
