Here is the respose I just got back

If your not laughing your crying

My roommate here (Brian) whom I share the rent with is hugely behind
(with me) in his share of the rent. He had just enough air miles for
this flight though. When I got the invite to join my brother Jim for a
week @ Fernie @ the end of Jan.,I had Brian book my flight on his
airmiles. @ least it's one way for me to collect. I have only laid out
$48.00 ( taxes) for this upcoming trip.I can see how you view the news
of me bookin a trip out west though. I would see it the same way if I
were you.
In reference to my last email sent to you... It is looking good for me
to be able to repay you prior to goin to Fernie.I have arranged for a
private second mortgage on the house - which will close @ the end of
Nov. 2002.The first thing I plan for these funds is to repay you.
It is clear to me that you don't believe or accept this but : up to &
including today, I have not yet been in a position to repay a penny more
than I have.You've seen the payments when you have because I was able to
then... Not cuz you were freaking on me on those particular dates.I did
go out to Whistler 2 yrs ago. Also the airfare was 90% paid by James
through his pilot scam.Both these trips I decided to take mainly cuz I
got air fare without layin out cash.Both trips MUCH needed just to keep
my sanity ( which I need to to retain to operate my business which is
"one" of the main ways enabling me to have made past payments as well as
future ).
This whole thing turns my stomach "almost" as much as it does yours.I do
truly hate that this ever happened. I have lost the best friends I ever
had. I assure the feeling from that is worse than you or anyone could
ever imagine.
